What happens during a treatment?
The majority of a treatment will be conducted face down on a treatment or massage bed. During the Spinal Flow sessions, clients are encouraged to focus on different areas of their spine so that more awareness is developed over time. In the Kinesiology, Neural-Organisational, or Hyperton-X sessions, you may be asked to be on your back, your side, or face down, depending on the muscles being tested and the issues being explored.
Do private health rebates apply?
All alternate therapies are regulated by their own professional bodies and not AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and as such, private health rebates are not applicable. My fees at this present time have not been increased since 2018!
Who can have Spinal Flow?
The sessions are for everyone who are experiencing a range of “dis-ease” and symptoms. As the techniques are so effective, anyone and everyone can experience the benefits of Spinal Flow. There are no contra-indications for the Spinal Flow Technique.
Why should I have Kinesiology or Neural-Organisational or Spinal Flow?
I personally do not know anyone who lives in a completely stress-free environment, so you and I all experience levels of stress in our everyday lives. Our body naturally puts most stress “to the back of the mind” where it stores it in the mind affecting our bodies through physical pain, emotional stress, or chemical imbalance.
How often will I require sessions?
Every person will have different requirements because every person is different! Some people have immediate drastic results, yet other people find that their recovery takes time, and the changes happen over the ongoing weeks. Children tend to respond to the sessions very quickly.
when first undertaking a package over 6 sessions, it is advisable to come weekly, then continue with the maintenance approach of a sessions once every 4 – 6 weeks. Prevention is so much better than cure.
Some clients have come weekly for a while, then decide to stretch out the sessions to once every 4 – 6 weeks. Some clients visit once every 6 months; yet others, annually for a regular “tune up”. There are several clients who do not like to book in advance but prefer to contact me when there is a pressing issue at hand.
What do I wear?
It is best if clients wear something that is comfortable and not restrictive. It is best for clients to wear leggings or joggers for easier movement of the legs.
